I am very proud of the fact that one of my ancestors is listed on the San
Jacinto Monument at San Jacinto, Texas.
Also, my biological parents are both Texans, and my grandparents,
great-grandparents, great, great grand-parents, etc. were Texan, and, even
though I was born at 05:00 on October 25, 1952 on U.S. Federal
Property in the Portsmouth Naval Hospital, Portsmouth,
Virginia,
I was raised in Texas and am a Texan.
I
was adopted and raised by my aunt and uncle.- I am married, have a 6 year old daughter and a 1 year old son living at home with
my wife and I. I also
have four (4) grown children, four (4) grandchildren, and a 5th grandchild on the
way
- I am 6'0"(1.83m) tall, and weigh approximately
225 lbs(100 kg).
- I have Auburn/Grey hair (mostly gray now), and
Hazel eyes with green and yellow in them that change from very dark brown
to pale yellow-green depending on my mood.
- I am considered Caucasian, but I am actually part Native
American (Choctaw/Cherokee mix), part French,
and part Scottish-Irish.
- I am a Master Mason, 32°
Scottish
Rite Mason, Shrine Mason,
Eastern
Star, and Order of the Amaranth.
- I am a Senior DeMolay, Past DeMolay
Dad , and Past Rainbow Dad.
- I have been in martial arts since I was a young man, and I
currently exercise and bike 25-30 Km, 5 days
per week.
- I spent twenty (20)+ years
in the U.S. Navy,
transferred to the Fleet reserve on May 31, 1993, and was transferred to
the fully retired list on 31 May 2001.
- I am a Microsoft Certified Professional and Certified
Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), have a Bachelor's degree from the University of
Washington, a Master
of Science in International Management, and a Master of Business Administration in Global
Business from Echelon University, The Netherlands in cooperation with Johnson and Whales,
Alan
Shawn Feinstein Graduate School, Rhode Island, USA, a
Master of Science in Computer Information
Systems (MScCIS) through the University of Phoenix, and am in my 13th
class of 23 in the Doctor
of Business Administration program at the University of Phoenix.
- My favorite hobbies are my family,
bicycling, martial arts, fencing,
medieval recreation, and traveling.
